Receiver-In-Canal (RIC) Hearing Aids

The receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid is a newer style in hearing aids and is best for those mild to severe hearing loss.

Compared to the classic BTE hearing aids, the RIC receiver is placed inside the ear instead of in the housing, thereby reducing its size.

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) Hearing Aids

BTE hearing aids fit comfortably behind-the-ear and are connected to a soft, custom earmold. BTE electronics are housed in a small container that fits behind the ear. BTE hearing aids can provide much more amplification than smaller hearing devices due to a stronger amplifier and a larger battery.

Invisible Hearing Aids

You no-longer need to put off getting help for your hearing loss because you are self-conscious about wearing a hearing aid. Advanced technology has made it possible for you to have a hearing aid so small they rest deep in your ear canal, hidden from view.

Completely-In-Canal (CIC) Hearing Aids

The CIC hearing aid is the smallest model of hearing aids and is suitable if you have a mild to moderate hearing loss. The CIC is custom made for you and the shell contains all the electronic components.

The device is placed deep in the ear canal, making the hearing aid almost invisible.

In-The-Ear (ITE) Hearing Aids

The ITE hearing aid has all of its electronic components contained within a plastic shell moulded to fit your ear.

The ITE model is placed in your ear canal, but the faceplate is still visible in the concha of your ear. This type of hearing aid is suitable if you have mild to severe hearing loss.
